The pair of talented rappers have taken repeated jabs at each other over social media, but now it may be seeping into the music. RTK, who recently topped Billboard's Emerging Artists Chart, has let the conflict spill over into the booth.

The ATL native previewed a possible Uzi diss track on his Instagram live (Feb. 27), featuring multiple subtle references directed at the "Money Longer" rapper. With Rich The Kid preparing to drop his debut album (March 30),The World Is Yours, could this all be a ploy to increase hype leading into the project, or is there actually some malice behind the disagreement?

Jan. 12, 2018: Rich The Kid Responds to Lil Uzi Vert's Tweet Directed at DJ Drama

Uzi's souring label situation with DJ Drama has been well documented. The Philly native signed to Drama and DJ Don Cannon's Generation Now imprint back in 2015, but is unhappy with how things have turned in the record deal years later.

Lil Uzi Vert once again went public with the in-house disagreement, but also wanted to give his younger audience some knowledge about the music industry by tweeting, "And if y'all do sign … sign 2 a major Don't sign 2 a rapper or a Dj It's Just Easier When The Time Come For That Fake S–t."

A couple hours later, the "New Freezer" rapper teased Uzi about his label situation and how he needed to join the 25-year-old's Rich Forever Music imprint when he had the chance, "That's why you SHOULDA signed [with] Rich forever," the ATLien tweeted.

Uzi must've gotten wind of RTK's response pretty quickly, as it didn't take him much time to think up a response. The "Sauce It Up" artist quoted the Rich Forever CEO's tweet mentioned above and said, "Boy I'm not signing for no 20racks," followed by a bat emoji.

The "Plug Walk" artist addressed Lil Uzi indirectly on his Instagram Story hardly 48 hours later, saying, "Hey man, if your boss and CEO ain't treating you right, come over to Rich Forever Music, ya dig!"

The feud was reignited when Rich The Kid made a radio appearance on Power 106 in Los Angeles with theThe Cruz Show. When asked if he would consider signing Uzi if he were to get out of his tumultuous label situation, RTK revealed there are some personal issues between the duo in his response, "Not right now, maybe back then," he said. "Maybe I would sign him on my business, but for personal reasons I wouldn't sign him."

TheLuv Is Rageartist took it back to his 2022 days with newly-dyed green dreads. Uzi Vert posted a photo to social media holding a behemoth of a crab, which he claims cost him $1000. Hours later, he reposted the picture, but this time the sea creature was tagged as Rich The Kid.

Feb. 26, 2018: Rich The Kid Accuses Lil Uzi Vert of Stealing His Look

TheTrap Talkartist did not take kindly to the social media dig. He then reposted the photo of Uzi later on that day to his Instagram Story but wrote, "Aw look at my son [Lil Uzi Vert] tryna look jus like me." We can assume he is mainly talking about the "You Was Right" artist's green dreads, but Lil Uzi donned the colored hair years ago when he was just coming up in hip-hop.

Feb 27, 2018: Rich The Kid Previews Snippet of Lil Uzi Vert Diss Song

TheWorld Is Yoursrapper took to Instagram live to share a snippet from an upcoming track with fans. Multiple lyrics on the song can be tied back to Lil Uzi.

He begins going over DJ Mustard production, "your money gettin' shorter," which is an obvious jab at the electric live performer's hit, "Money Longer." A reference to "XO Tour Llif3" can also be heard later in the 40-second snippet, "All them dead friends/ You a little middle man/ You a little man," Rich The Kid raps.
